Hi and welcome to ExperienceXchange. This is hopefully the first of many interesting and informative articles that will be posted to the ExperienceXchange blog over the next few years and hopefully they will spark many discussions and ideas. We also welcome any of our members that wish to add to the blog with an article and please please please plenty of comments.
My name is Steven Grant and I will be running the show here at ExperienceXchange. For the last 6 years through the good times I have been heavily involved in recruitment. Through this, I have come up with the ExperienceXchange concept. The Recruitment Industry, Hiring and in fact total employment market is going to have to change dramatically. We have gone from a Candidate driven market, to a Client driven market to an Agency driven market. With this is mind, we are trying to put the control back in peoples hands. In conjunction with Combined Mediaand Origin Corporate Finance we hope that ExperienceXchange will become the most cutting edge and freshest of all of the Irish employment websites and to be honest I would prefer for ExperienceXchange not even to be referred to as an Employment Website!!
ExperienceXchange is a service that will be user driven. It has been created to plug a gap that we see in the market. There are a large number of very experienced people that have been made redundant and are finding it hard to find permanent or contract work. It is our aim to utilize this experience because, lets be honest, we are going to need every ounce of it to get us out of the this mess.
